Abstract

The author examines the role of culture and art in the integration of migrants and the protection of their cultural rights. Special attention is given to the activities of the Vilnius-based art agency Artscape, which works with vulnerable groups, including refugees, through artistic projects and educational programs. Serafima explores how various initiatives function, such as the «Cultural Rhythms» festival, the «Connected by Culture» mentorship program, and creative workshops for refugee children. She emphasizes that art not only facilitates the adaptation of migrants but also creates a space for expressing their identity, fostering a tolerant society, and promoting intercultural dialogue. The article calls for the development of a more inclusive migrant support policy, reinforced by the experience of initiatives like Artscape.
